A. Base Service (cost per building)
- Reduced Program Rates
- BOCES Art Council
B. Coordination of Cultural Programming
- Professional research for Six(6) recommended performances, including:
music, dance, theater and art
- Study guides aligned with the New York State Standards to accompany
the recommended performances.
- All Arrangements for the performances including but not limited to:
- scheduling the performance
- arranging the stage and setups
- contracting with the performers
- all fiscal management
- press releases for the performances
- monitoring of performances for quality control
- Coordination of author visits, including but not limited
to:
- researching authors
- scheduling authors
- arranging logistics (places and setup)
- contracting with the performers
- all fiscal management
C. Arts in Education Professional Development
- District preparation for New York State Arts and Assessment Tests:
Assessments, Standards, Staff Education and Technology Systems in the
Arts
- County wide coordination of Music and Art Conferences
- Staff Development, portfolio adjudication training and workshop opportunities
for the music and art staff in school districts as well as focus on
dance & performing arts
- Listservs for district staff
- Shared resource of state network or Arts in Education Coordinators
D. Student Participation
- County-wide art shows of student work
- Portfolio adjudication for students
- Senior high visits to colleges for art and music programs
- Coordination of school partnership programs (Carnegie Hall and New
York Philharmonic, etc.)
- Distance Learning and Virtual Field Trip exposures
