Sullivan County BOCES offers an expanded range of services that support
the educational needs of the disabled student and at the same time meet
the requirements of the No Child Left Behind Mandates. These district-
requested services include, but are not limited to: day programming, diagnostic
services and related services. Cutting edge educational practices are
assured through on- and off-site employee-attended workshops. The focus
at Sullivan County BOCES remains in helping students find competitive
employment, as well as in leading independent satisfying lives.
Classes are staffed by certified special education teachers, licensed
teacher assistants, and certified school social workers/ psychologists
who have demonstrated skills in behavior management and therapeutic intervention
strategies.
