The applicant must have solid piano skills sufficient to accompany the most challenging NYSSMA Instrumental level six solos. The job responsibilities include but are not limited to Secondary General Music (HS Level), Chamber Music, Piano Lessons, and Piano Classes. The additional responsibilities include accompanying of curricular and co-curricular activities. As part of the interview process, the applicant will be asked to teach a piano lesson and perform an audition on piano and a secondary instrument of choice. Piano Repertoire should include a major work of Bach, a classical Sonata and a major work of Chopin that demonstrates teh applicant's technical and musical ability.
