Culinary Arts is a hands-on program that teaches the basic food safety and sanitation everyone needs to know.
The Culinary Arts Program is partnered with the National Restaurant Association’s
Education Foundation. The ProStart Curriculum is taught in both years I & II using the Foundations of Restaurant and Culinary Arts textbook.
Integrating traditional subject matter in the daily lessons allows for additional high school credit, as well as a CTE (Career & Technical Education) endorsement on the student’s high school diploma. Students can also receive the ProStart Certificate of
Achievement and apply for the National ProStart Scholarship.
