The Health Care industry offers exciting, high-wage careers in literally hundreds of different areas of specialization. This program allows you the freedom to explore these professions while preparing for employment or college.
The Diversified Health Occupations Program is a dynamic program where students in their junior and senior years of high school go on site into area health care facilities. Students will explore career choices, job shadow, build a professional portfolio and have the opportunity to obtain a nursing assistant certification.
The Program also allows students to choose their own educational path as they progress through their training. Students will learn through classroom, lab and internship/clinical experiences for half the day and the other half at their high school completing coursework for graduation. This program is designed for students who desire to enter the health care workforce with advanced skills or continue their education after high school.
