Today's Students Tomorrow's Teachers (TSTT)
TSTT held its 3rd Annual Mid-Hudson Valley Region Recognition Ceremony to celebrate the vision of Today’s Students Tomorrow’s Teachers. During the ceremony students, mentor teachers, administrators from Ellenville, Fallsburg, Liberty and Monticello school districts listened to a reflective speech from former TSTT graduate and now ESL Teacher at Fallsburg CSD, Isabel Mejia. Roberta Greene, Executive Director of the Mid-Hudson School Study Council office, also spoke about the importance of the TSTT program and the impact all the students involved will have on the region as future teachers. Dr. Anael Alston, New York State Education Department’s Assistant Commissioner for the Office of Access, Equity and Community Engagement ended the ceremony with an inspirational lesson to all the students on self-image, being a leader, and achieving your goals.
